祭概要

戦国時代の名将・武田信玄公。その遺徳を称えて開催される「信玄公祭り」は、桜や桃の花が咲き誇る甲府盆地で、百花繚乱の戦国の世にタイムスリップしたかのような様子を堪能できます。土曜日の夕方からは、川中島大合戦に出陣した様子を忠実に再現する「武者行列」を開催。例年は、信玄公や武田二十四将が出陣式で「三献の儀」などを執り行います。その後、甲冑をまとった軍勢が出陣し、甲府駅前などを勇壮華麗に行進します。

風・林・火・山の旗を掲げた1,000名超の軍勢が県内各地から集結。「侍の最大集合記録」としてギネス世界記録TMに認定されています。

Shingen Takeda was a great general during the the Warring States period. The Shingen-ko Festival is held in celebration of his posthumous influence and makes you feel as if you went back in time to the flowery Warring States period in the Kofu Basin, where there are many cherry and peach blossoms. The warrior procession that authentically recreates how he fought in the Battles of Kawanakajima is held from Saturday evening. Each year, Shingen and his 24 generals exchange sake cups as part of their deployment ceremony. Armored troops then deploy for battle and proceed valiantly in front of Kofu Station and other locations.

Over 1,000 troops from various locations in the prefecture with the Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan banner gather together. It has been certified by the Guinness World Records as the “Largest Samurai Parade in the World”.
