魂を震わせる、太鼓の音と勇壮な踊り！沖縄の伝統芸能「エイサー」に熱狂

Drumming and dancing that shake the soul!Feel the excitement of the traditional Okinawan performing art of Eisa.

旧盆の夜に各地の青年会が踊りながら練り歩く、沖縄の伝統芸能「エイサー」。沖縄全島や全国から選抜団体・ゲストが集結し、それぞれ個性豊かなエイサーを披露し合う最大規模のエイサーまつりです。9月1日には沖縄市青年団協議会による「沖縄市青年まつり」、9月2日には沖縄全島から選抜された青年会や各団体によるエイサーをコザ運動公園陸上競技場で開催。響きわたる大太鼓・締太鼓・三線の音や歌声、そして見事なまでに揃った演技に高揚感を覚えます。


8月31日には胡屋十字路周辺で、各青年会が踊りながら練り歩く「道ジュネ―」が行われます。



Eisa is a traditional Okinawan performing art where young people march down a pathway as they dance on Old Bon nights. This is the largest Eisa festival, where selected organizations and guests gather from all Okinawan islands as well as across the country to give their unique Eisa performances. The Okinawa City Youth Festival will be held by the Okinawa City Youth Group Council on September 1, and Eisa performances by youth groups and various organizations selected from all Okinawa islands will be held at Koza Sports Park on September 2. The booming sound of the big taiko drums, rope-tensioned taiko drums, shamisen, singing voices and the synchronized performances, which are nothing short of amazing, build up an uplifting feeling.
