30夜以上も続き、お盆には徹夜で踊る！ 誰もが参加できる情緒豊かな盆踊り
You can dance through the night during the Bon festivities, which carry on for over 30 nights! Anyone can participate in the atmospheric Bon dances.

約400年間も歌い踊り続けられてきた、城下町・郡上八幡の夏の風物詩。7月中旬～9月上旬のうちの30夜以上、辻の広場や神社などひと晩ごとに会場を変えて開催されます。お囃子と下駄の音、川のせせらぎが重なって山あいにこだまする中、観光客も地元の人々もひとつ輪になって踊る楽しさは格別です。8月13日～16日の4日間は、夜を徹して踊ります。明け方には歌い手と踊り手の息がぴったりと合い、夏の夜の短かさを惜しむように踊りが続きます。
A summer tradition of the castle town of Gujo Hachiman, with singing and dancing that have been performed for around 400 years. Held for over 30 nights from mid-July to early September, the locations change on a nightly basis, ranging from open crossroad spaces to shrines. The enjoyment of tourists and local residents dancing together as the sound of music, wooden clogs, and the river can be heard echoing through the mountains is a special experience. Participants can dance through the night for the four nights of August 13 to 16. When the morning comes, the singers and dancers are in total synchronization as they dance while taking advantage of every moment of the short summer night.

情緒豊かな「かわさき」、アップテンポの「春駒」など10曲あり、三味線・太鼓・笛や唄囃子などで演奏されます。
There are ten songs, including the atmospheric “Kawasaki” and the up-tempo “Harukoma”, performed with shamisens, taiko drums,flutes, and singing.
